Dependent Children Scholarship Program provides scholarships to full-time undergraduates for a maximum of four years or the period of time needed to complete a program of study. Assistance limited by contributions from other sources. Student must be a state resident attending a state college/university.

About $2,500 provided to family directly after death; $7,500 trust fund set up for all children up to age 25. Fund earns interest until child is of college age and can only be used for educational purposes. Trust reverts back to the 100 Club if not used. Must be a resident of Shelby County.

Education Courses are offered by the Tennessee Fire Service and Codes Enforcement Academy both at the state academy and regionally. Fire departments pay only 20% to 50% of tuition.
