Why are you an NVFC member?
I feel it’s important to be a member of the NVFC to keep my finger on the pulse of the volunteer fire service.

What is your occupation?
Software Developer Supervisor

Why are you a volunteer firefighter, EMT, or rescue provider?
I am a volunteer firefighter and first responder because it is a needed service in my community, and I enjoy being able to help people.

What year did you join the fire or emergency services?  
2012

What are your memorable moments as a firefighter or EMS provider?
My most memorable moments have been when someone will thank me/us for what we do. A lot of times when we are helping others, they are having a very bad day. It’s nice to hear when someone appreciates what we do.

What contributions have you (and your department) made in your community?
Our Fire/First Responders have contributed to our community by helping those in need. We offer fire inspections and lift assists along with traditional fire suppression and first responder actions.
