VFIS Launches New Podcast for Emergency Service Organizations

VFIS, an American International Group, Inc. (AIG) company, has announced the launch of its newest resource for fire and emergency service organizations, the Don’t Risk It! podcast. Don’t Risk It! is designed to help departments better protect their responders, their apparatus, and the community they serve by covering a range of risk management and safety-related topics.

“We developed Don’t Risk It! to give first responders a quick, easy way to review industry hot topics and concepts for effective risk management,” says Mike Baker, director of VFIS Client Risk Solutions. “We want to meet firefighters and emergency service personnel wherever they are, and with this podcast, they are only one tap away from practical and actionable risk management solutions.”

VFIS senior risk control representative Chris Rodgers hosts bi-weekly discussions with emergency service organization veterans and risk management experts. Each episode ranges from 10 to 20 minutes and focuses on how responders can help limit some of the industry’s common emergency service exposures. Topics include patient handling, driver training, fatigue management, and more.

Episodes of Don’t Risk It! will be available on all major streaming and podcast platforms and can also be accessed via DontRiskIt.libsyn.com.
