Firefighter Lifestyle & Health Magazine CRACKYL Launching in 2021

CRACKYL Media Inc. is proud to announce the launch of a new lifestyle and health magazine designed specifically for active firefighters. CRACKYL Magazine will focus on health, lifestyle, fitness, relationships, finance, and stress in an effort to help firefighters mitigate external factors that have the potential to affect their day-to-day happiness. CRACKYL Magazine has sourced some of the best subject matter experts to tackle topics ranging from marriage problems to personal fitness.

Created by career firefighter Kory Pearn, CRACKYL Magazine is dedicated to the overall mental and physical wellness of career and volunteer firefighters, supporting them as they achieve balance between their personal life and the firehall. Taking it one step further, CRACKYL is committed to helping fellow firefighters be successful both on and off duty. Each issue will feature content designed to explore different facets of life as a firefighter or member of a fire service family. They understand the importance of a team approach and know that a firefighter’s team also extends to those who support them at home.

“Being a problem solver, if something is hard to do, then we have to figure out a way to fix it. When you get into firefighting, most often you do it to help people. But once you have been helping people for a while, you realize it is hard. If you are always focusing on others, the one person who often forgets to get help is yourself,” said Pearn.

In advance of the print magazine launch in March, the CRACKYL web site is now live at www.crackylmag.com. Use the menu headings to search for articles relating to specific areas of interest. Not sure where to start? Check out the featured articles section. CRACKYL can also be found on Facebook and Instagram.

The National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) is a media partner of CRACKYL Magazine and will keep members up to date on the release of the latest issues. The NVFC will also contribute articles for the magazine that focus on topics specific to the volunteer fire service. A firefighter is a firefighter, and CRACKYL Magazine ensures that no firefighter is left behind. Their topics are applicable to all firefighters, regardless of workplace status.

“Firefighting may not define who you are, but it sure shapes who you become,” said Pearn.

CRACKYL Magazine will be released quarterly, with the first issue available in March 2021. Learn more and subscribe at www.crackylmag.com. For questions, contact Kory Pearn, publisher, at kory@crackylmag.com.
