September is National Preparedness Month, and your emergency service department can use this time to help raise community awareness about the importance of preparing for disasters. This year’s theme is “Prepare to Protect: Preparing for disasters is protecting everyone you love.” Learn more. September 11 is also a National Day of Service and Remembrance.
