Funding Available to Enhance Hazmat Incident Training and Readiness

The NVFC and CHEMTREC® have partnered for a fourth year to help volunteer fire departments enhance their response capabilities and increase local preparedness to respond to and prepare for hazardous materials incidents. Through the HELP (Hazmat Emergencies Local Preparedness) Awards, two NVFC members will receive a $10,000 grant to enhance their department’s hazmat training and readiness.
