Why are you an NVFC member?
I enjoy the monthly newsletters and networking. Each month gives me new ideas for training and it inspires me to see how everyone else is making these challenging times work! The added life insurance was a no-brainer for our department. The NVFC cares and wants us all to do better and keep our people safe. Each day is a new challenge and resources like the NVFC and others give us tools to meet and exceed these expectations.

Why are you a fire service volunteer?
Like many in the fire service, helping others is the standard answer. The people we help and the brotherhood and sisterhood are what drives me. New members young and old are my passion – I enjoy helping pass on what I have learned and always look forward to learning more.
