This free two-day course will teach the fundamentals of assessing a home and working with residents to make their property more resilient to wildfires. The Wildland Fire Assessment Program is a joint initiative between the National Volunteer Fire Council and U.S. Forest Service to prepare fire department members to conduct home safety assessments and make homes more fire adapted in the wildland-urban interface.
