Application Deadline Extended to March 14 for the Community Wildfire Defense Grants

The U.S. Forest Service is accepting applications for the Community Wildfire Defense Grants. Eligible communities, counties, states, tribes, and nonprofits have until March 14 to apply for this grant to help plan for and reduce wildfire risks. Grants can be used to develop and revise Community Wildfire Protection Plans or implement projects described in a Community Wildfire Protection Plan that are less than 10 years old. Up to $200 million will be awarded in this third round of grants. Learn more.
