Application Period Now Open for SAFER and FP&S Grants

The application period is now open for two FEMA fire service grants. The Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) grants support hiring, recruitment, and retention of career and volunteer firefighters. Fire Prevention & Safety (FP&S) grants support projects that enhance the safety of the public and firefighters from fire and related hazards. The Notice of Funding Opportunities, grant guidance documents, application development workshop schedule, and more are available on the grant web sites. Applications are due by April 12 at 5pm ET.
