Enter to Win a Laptop for Your Fire Department Courtesy of CHEMTREC®

CHEMTREC® has partnered with the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) to provide 12 volunteer fire departments with a refurbished laptop. Whether your department does not currently have a laptop or it needs an upgrade, this giveaway is a way to give back to the hardworking and dedicated volunteers that give so much each day to serve their communities.

To enter, departments must meet the following requirements:

  • Chief or individual applying on behalf of the department must be a member of the NVFC. If you are not a member, join here.
  • Department must be more than 50% volunteer and serve a population of 25,000 or less.
  • Department’s annual revenue must be $250,000 or less.
  • Department must be located in the United States and legally organized under state law. Tribal entities servicing a tribe recognized by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) that are chartered pursuant to IRA Section 17 or organized by a tribal government pursuant to a tribal code or resolution are eligible to apply.

Laptops must be used for department purposes (not personal use) and cannot be redistributed or sold. A total of 12 volunteer departments that meet the criteria will be randomly selected to receive a refurbished laptop.

The laptops are previously used but have been wiped clean. The receiving departments are responsible for purchasing any productivity applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, and any anti-virus software. View the laptop specifications here.

The entry period is open until December 11. Enter here.
