MSA Safety and NVFC Wrap-Up 2024 Cairns® 1836 Fire Helmet Giveaway

MSA Safety and the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) annually team up to award new helmets to volunteer firefighters. In 2024, four MSA Cairns® 1836 Fire Helmets were given to four NVFC members after entry periods in April, June, September, and November.

The fourth recipient of the MSA Cairns® 1836 Fire Helmet is Battalion Chief Brian McCaslin of Huntingdon (TN) Fire Department. Congratulations to Chief McCaslin and all of the 2024 winners.

The MSA Cairns® 1836 Fire Helmet showcases the iconic traditional design with innovative features that address today’s fire service needs. It is lightweight, comfortable, and features a low ride height and newly designed Defender Visor that adjusts in and out to fit a range of face sizes and shapes or over eyewear.
