USDOT SMART Grants can be used to fund projects involving technology such as traffic signals. Applications are being accepted through 5pm ET on July 12 for Stage 1 of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Strengthening Mobility and Revolutionizing Transportation (SMART) Grants. Established by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the program provides $100 million for funding to public-sector agencies, including EMS, for projects that focus on using technology interventions to solve real-world challenges facing communities.
