Provide Input on the Final Draft of the National EMS Education Standards

The final draft of proposed revisions to the National EMS Education Standards is now available for public comment. Members of the EMS community and the public are invited to review the document and provide feedback to the team leading the effort by December 14.

The revision of the National EMS Education Standards is spearheaded by a team of experienced EMS professionals convened by the National Association of EMS Educators, with support from the NHTSA Office of EMS and the Health Resources and Services Administration, Maternal and Child Health Bureau’s EMS for Children program. The team has engaged with stakeholders across EMS and healthcare to create this final draft of the standards, and a final publication of the revised National EMS Education Standards is anticipated in early 2021. The revision effort follows last year’s publication of an updated National EMS Scope of Practice Model.

Review the draft and provide feedback here. If you have any questions or additional input on this project, email educationstandards@redflashgroup.com.
