Scholarships and Giveaways for NVFC Members

As an NVFC member, you can take advantage of special scholarships and giveaways. The following opportunities are currently open:
- Heather Schafer Memorial Scholarship – Nominate an NVFC member to receive a $1,500 scholarship to attend either the Health & Safety Training Summit, June 24-25 in Orlando, FL, or the Recruitment & Retention Experience, September 16-17 in Mesa, AZ. The nomination deadline is May 1.
- MSA Cairns® XF1 Fire Helmet – MSA is giving away three personalized Cairns XF1 Fire Helmets to NVFC members this year. The first entry period is now open through May 1.
- MSA and DuPont’s Globe Gear Giveaway – MSA and DuPont are giving away 52 sets of new turnout gear and 52 helmets to NVFC members in 2022. The first 500 applicants also get a complimentary NVFC membership, courtesy of MSA. Apply for four sets of gear and helmets for your department by June 1.
- Recruitment & Retention Experience Travel Stipends – NVFC members can apply for a $750 stipend to help with expenses relating to attending the Recruitment and Retention Experience in Mesa, AZ, September 16-17.
