Take Action: Tell Congress to Pass the HERO Act!

The Helping Emergency Responders Overcome (HERO) Act would address public safety behavioral health issues by creating a grant program for peer-support behavioral health at fire and EMS departments, developing resources to educate mental health professionals about the unique behavioral health issues firefighters and EMS providers face, and establishing a collection system for public safety officer suicides. Use the NVFC’s Legislative Action Center to tell Congress to pass the HERO Act!
