Why are you a fire service volunteer?
Originally to help the community. Now I’ve transitioned into making our fire department sustainable for our community.

What year did you join the fire or emergency services?
1995

What are your memorable moments as a firefighter or EMS provider?
During a fundraising dinner, we had a young lady and her grandmother come up and hug us for responding to their sick loved one.

What contributions have you (and your department) made in your community?
I contribute every day by being available. We keep the equipment up-to-date and serviced. We keep the apparatus clean and serviced. We keep the firehouse clean for visitors and community events.
