DHS worker

Why are you a volunteer firefighter, EMT, or rescue provider?
I am a volunteer because I am able to give back to my community.

What year did you join the fire or emergency services?  
1995

What are your memorable moments as a firefighter or EMS provider?
Every moment I spend in the fire/EMS service is memorable because I am helping the people in the community I grew up in.

What contributions have you (and your department) made in your community?
We manage a full-time EMS service for our county that provides 24/7 ALS service to save lives.
