My family has 3 generations actively participating on the fire dept. My father-in-law is an assistant chief and my son is a fire officer/EMT-I.
What contributions have you (and your department) made in your community?
Fire prevention in the local grade school, junior fire fighter program to get kids involved, fundraisers for local individuals, and most importantly, providing fire and EMS service to an 84 square mile area.
