Why are you an NVFC member?
National Volunteer Fire Council provides an abundance of pertinent material and information that I use. I fell in love with their web site so I had to join.

What is your occupation?
Secretary

Why are you a volunteer firefighter, EMT, or rescue provider? 
I grew up in a family that always served the community. It is just something that came natural and I could not see myself doing anything else with my time.

What year did you join the fire or emergency services?
2005

What are your memorable moments as a firefighter or EMS provider?
Bringing a man back after administering CPR and providing assistance to a Paramedic who was treating a patient who had been shot 6 times.

What contributions have you (and your department) made in your community?
Yearly participation in fire prevention and life safety days in the community and local schools. Monthly publications of safety tips.
