What are your memorable moments as a firefighter or EMS provider?
The comradery of the organization is important. Further, and somewhat unique to our organization, is the interaction with college student volunteers who give of their time while at Maine Maritime Academy. Over the years I have gotten to know so many students, many of which have gone on to continue their volunteer service after graduation.
What contributions have you (and your department) made in your community?
CFRD continues to be the backbone of community volunteerism in Castine. We strive to hold a high standard for ourselves, and in doing so attempt to provide the best and most professional services to our community possible.
