To help my community.

What year did you join the fire or emergency services?
1972

What are your memorable moments as a firefighter or EMS provider?
Delivering a baby between two gas pumps.

What contributions have you (and your department) made in your community?
Training our firefighters. Managing to procure two grants for our department. With the grants, we were able to obtain an AED, a thermal imager, 20 sets of PPE (to replace our 25-year-old PPE), and 12 air packs. Our last grant was in 2008.
