Why are you a fire service volunteer?
I love giving back to my community. I know how hard it is to be a volunteer fighter in today’s time, and I love the fire service! My entire family is in the emergency services or medical field.

What year did you join the fire or emergency services?
2007

What are your memorable moments as a firefighter or EMS provider?
Being Chief through Hurricane Florence, we responded to 112 calls in 12 days. 77 of those were water rescues. Getting people out of their houses because they were flooded in and working alongside the National Guard and a lot of other services – it was very amazing to see everything come together!
