Why are you a fire service volunteer?
West Virginia is 93 percent volunteer fire departments and we need our volunteers to serve the people of our state.

What year did you join the fire or emergency services?
1998

What are your memorable moments as a firefighter or EMS provider?
Hearing thank yous from the public. Winning grants and other funding for our department.

What contributions have you (and your department) made in your community?
We cover our first due area and also work with local volunteer departments and our airport fire department. Teamwork!
